The cargo bike share is designed to benefit to the community, and to encourage people to try alternative modes of sustainable transportation, while exercising. The program provides affordable access to a cargo bike with two booking options.

The Cristiana cargo bike is located at the Aro Valley Community Centre and can hold up to 100kgs or 4 children, so is perfect for day trips and carrying those items that are too big and heavy for a regular bike. You can book the Aro Cargo bike for 24 hrs or for a weekend.
 

To become a member you can sign up below, contact Lexi at developer@arovalley.org.nz or you can pop down to the office and take it for a test drive and sign up. The membership and service fee is $60 for a year. If you would like to borrow it for a one off outing without a membership, it is $10 with a credit card.
